Beyoncé is gearing up for her On the Run joint tour with husband, Jay Z, but she still makes time to mind her own business—in fragrance, that is. The singer just released a follow-up to her Heat perfume series with a new scent named Heat Wild Orchid. The scent, like the singer, "emits a fierce, feminine energy," notes the press release.
Bey's latest product is liquid sensuality with a delicious mix of pomegranate, coconut water and boysenberry, as well as flowers like honeysuckle and blooming magnolia. The base notes feature blond woods, skin musks and gilded amber, while the special ingredient is the scent of Butterfly Orchid, which is believed to have aphrodisiac qualities.
Heat was first released in 2010 and it was followed by Heat Rush, Midnight Heat and a limited edition for her Mrs. Carter Show tour. Wild Orchid is a more mature scent, and the ad features a classier Bey dressed in black with a chignon and fuchsia chiffon swirling around her.
