Call her what you want, but you can’t call Cardi B a snitch. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper is clearing up controversy surrounding her recent claims of being unlawfully placed in a chokehold by an NYPD officer.

During an interview with “WEDR 99 Jamz,” Cardi claimed that traffic caused by Donald Trump’s appearance at a New York NATO conference ultimately led to an altercation between her cousin and a motorist who hit her car’s mirror. Proudly owning up to being “no angel” in her spat with the motorist, Cardi claims she was the only person physically assaulted by police officials despite her male cousin and the male motorist becoming engaged in a fight.

Clapping back at a statement released by the NYPD suggesting that they couldn’t find any evidence to support her claims, Cardi was adamant about her distrust of the police and refusal to cooperate. “I don’t really want to make a statement because I ain’t never talk to no 12 before. And even if I did talk, are they going to do anything about it? Most likely not. So why would I waste my time?”

Seems like that’s Cardi’s story and she’s sticking to it, regardless of it can help bring her justice.
