Last night (February 15) fans received a scare during the Grammy Awards when it was reported that Jay Rock had taken a nasty spill while riding a motorcycle.

Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith broke the news on Twitter, saying that his artist was hurt “pretty bad” but that he wasn’t near death, and shared that there were “a lot of broken bones.”

Updating us again via Twitter, Tiffith wrote, “My guy @JayRock just got out of surgery and he’s doing fine,” along with a small note asking fans to stay away and stop trying to visit the rapper while he recuperates.

We're relieved to hear Jay Rock is doing “just fine” and trust Tiffith and the TDE camp will keep us posted. 

The initial news of the motorcycle crash came just after TDE label-mate Kendrick Lamar absolutely killed his time on stage performing at the Grammys, and took home five awards throughout the night.
