Trey Songz Finally Confirms He's A Father And Reveals Newborn Son
Looks like Father's Day came early for Trey Songz, as the singer just recently revealed he is in fact a dad!
The R&B crooner, real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson, took to his Instagram Thursday evening (May 16) to announce the news. “My son Noah," the 34-year-old new dad proudly boasted, while showing off an adorable baby boy in a white and blue onesie. "We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace," Trey concluded.
Earlier that day, Songz had fans speculating whether the singer quietly welcomed a child into the world after he uploaded a black and white photo to his Instagram page, showing what appeared to be his hand embracing a baby's foot. The picture was simply captioned with a blue heart emoji, however, close family and celeb friends wished the singer "Congratulations," on the reveal, further adding to speculation.
While the Virginia-bred singer did confirm he is now a proud papa, Songz has yet to come forward to reveal who his child's mother is.Back in 2017, during a visit to The Breakfast Club, when asked about his decision on waiting to have kids, the singer replied: “I didn’t wait this long just to have a baby moms. As far as I'm concerned. I want a wife. Being a heartthrob, R&B singer, it’s hard to find something concrete in this business."
The last girlfriend Trigga was publicly linked to was model Lori Harvey, who was sure to congratulate Trey in the comments section of his baby post, along with friend and fellow singer Kehlani, actors Kevin Hart and Marlon Wayans, and many others.
