Have you seen Jahessye Shockley?

The five-year-old girl disappeared Tuesday from her home in Glendale, which is a suburb of Phoenix in Arizona. Now three days later, police in suburban Phoenix are moving to what they describe as the “second phase” in the search.

On Thursday, police wrapped up a grid search for the girl who was last seen at home by her three young siblings around 5 p.m. after their mother went to run a quick errand. Despite the efforts of over 100 law enforcement personnel and volunteers to find Jahessye, none have been successful. The officials say that they are still looking for a tip that will lead them to her and that they want the public to offer any information they have.

Minor details have been revealed about what a “second phase” means, other than following-up on tips. Registered sex offenders living in the area have been checked and rechecked and their residences have even been raided, only to find no evidence of the child.

Police believe that the little girl left through the front door of her home.

She is described as black with brown eyes. She is 3 feet 5 inches tall and was last seen wearing a plain white shirt, blue jean shorts and pink sandals.
