Ab-Soul released his new album Herbert on Friday (December 16) along with a new video for “FOMF”, one of the project’s singles. Directed by Omar Jones and Onda, the video has the TDE artist standing on a baseball field, packed with many of his fans cheering him and his label family on. The Boi-1da produced track is the fifth on Soulo’s new project and is a hard-hitting anthem sure to give you some added motivation to start the week.
Young Dolph’s Estate and Paper Route Empire released both the newest single “Old Ways” and the Memphis rapper’s highly anticipated posthumous album Paper Route Frank last week. Featuring an O’Jays sample on the beat made by frequent collaborator Bandplay, Dolph continues to display the steady delivery and incredible lyricism that made him a favorite among Hip Hop fans. On the song, he raps about hustling to provide for his family and the earlier years during his come up.
And to get you into the holiday spirit, funk legend Bootsy Collins released a new song. “Boot-A-Claus/Here 4-A-Reason” is a funky and unifying song that is from the Ohio native’s forthcoming compilation album Funk Not Fight, which is about spreading joy and peace through music and addressing violence across the U.S.
Additionally, Little Simz, Lil Durk’s Only The Family and Jacquees & Future also released new songs and videos. See our list below.
