On Sunday night (June 24), only the most soulful of voices stole the stage at the 2018 BET Awards stage to honor the legendary R&B soul jazz icon Anita Baker. The evening’s host, Jamie Foxx, set down the mic and entered his musical element behind the piano to lead the Lifetime Achievement Award tribute, followed by R&B vocalist Marsha Ambrosius, R&B jazz songstress Ledisi and the Reigning Queen of Urban Gospel Yolanda Adams.

The lengthy performance brought forth some of Hollywood’s most beautiful voices to honor the Caught Up In the Rapture vocal legend, but per usual, the internet was cutting up the entire time.
