The flyest pre-teen in the universe has turned 11. As little Willow Smith celebrates her birthday, we thought back to how she helped to shape the looks of junior high school cuties all over the world with her quirky style and designer closet.
The daughter of superstars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett knows a few things about great hair. She’s cleverly molded her mane into sculpted pieces of art. Remember the heart-shaped braided ‘do she flossed in the “Whip My Hair” video? Or the shaved Rihanna-esque Mohawk she flossed while hanging with her parents across the pond? When it comes to Willow’s mane, her imagination has run wild in the past. Indigo blue braids, sparkly extensions and killer cuts have all made her fans swoon, paparazzi included.
Tweens interested in mimicking the style of the colorful birthday girl have their work cut out for them. Willow’s duds, including everything from leopard print harem pants to sassy cropped leather jackets, are always drenched in fantasy and fun. There's no doubt about it; the girl has good taste.
