She was my very best friend and final family member.”
Tracey said she will be sharing the information for Denise’s celebration of life at a later time.
On August 7, Tracey announced that Denise was hospitalized and in a coma due to the meningitis battle.
“As many of you have seen, my posts have been positive and up lifting. I am trying to keep my spirits up and support those who need it. As many of you know I am a private person. So this is hard for me,” she wrote.
With over 30 films and 85 TV shows under her belt, Dowse’s latest acting contributions include her portrayal of Vice Principal Yvonne Teasley on Beverly Hills, 90210, Judge Rebecca Damsen on The Guardian, and therapist Rhonda Pine on Insecure.
In a 2015 interview, Dowse saw herself doing Broadway in New York. She spoke with awareness of the television gigs not being too heavy in the city, but she had stage dreams.
It would be “kind of coming full circle for myself because that’s where I started, was on stage.”
