Kanye West Supports Tidal Again: 'The Love of Music Is Louder Than Words'
Jay Z’s new music streaming service, Tidal, is off to a rocky start. After news broke of Tidal CEO Andy Chen leaving the company, there are reports this week that the app has crashed out of the top 700 iTunes charts. On top of that, British singer Lily Allen and Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard have slammed Tidal, making the service less appealing to consumers.
Kanye West, who is a high-profile artist supporting Tidal’s initiative, recently deleted all his references to Tidal on his Twitter page and even changed his avatar. West is a close friend of Jay Z and it looks suspicious that he removed everything just a month after its launch.
However, Ye looks like he’s back to supporting Tidal after he tweeted last night: “The love of music is louder than words.”
Maybe it was all a publicity stunt?
