Jimi Hendrix is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

 Rock legend Jimi Hendrix, who was known for his explosive electric guitar style and blues-rooted vocals, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Hendrix died at age 27 in 1970.
