See How This 11-Year-Old Girl Made Fashion Week History For The Very Same Reason She Was Bullied

Now that's #BlackGirlMagic.

Navigating elementary school is no easy feat. You have to adjust to a routinized schedule, asking to go to the bathroom and starting to learn about social interactions. Though we all have to go through this, it's a lot for a child to all take in at once. And it's made that much harder by bullying.

Kheris Rogers knows this all too well. As early as first grade, she was the victim of racist bullying by her classmates. But trying to diminish her only strengthened her. As of last week, she's now the youngest person to ever show a collection at New York Fashion Week. Who's laughing now, kiddos?

Rogers presented her collection at the Museum of the City of New York and even walked in her own show. Werk, Kheris!

She shared a photo of her runway look with the following caption: "I just made history as #NYFW youngest fashion designer EVER! I am only 11 years old and made it to the runway while encouraging people to love their skin. Thank you all for your support! Keep Flexin' In Your Complexion."

Her pro-melanin message is already catching on. Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o even wore the shirt to a NYFW show last week. Now that's Black girl magic!
