Report: Immortal Technique Arrested for Alleged Robbery, Assault
Immortal Technique was arrested in Santa Ana, Calif., yesterday (March 26) on allegations of robbery and assault, the Orange County Register reports. The 37-year-old, born Felipe Andres Colonel, is accused of attacking two men for selling T-shirts outside his show at the Observatory OC.
The indie artist wasn’t receiving a profit from the merchandise, which was allegedly stolen from the street vendors at around 7:45 p.m. along with their money and cellphones. During the alleged attack, Immortal Technique had the help of 11 other people, including 40-year-old Alexander McDaniel, the victims claim.

Police still allowed him to perform the sold-out show, so as to not cause any trouble with the crowd. He and McDaniel were identified by the victims, and arrested later in the night. No stolen merchandise or money was recovered.
The Harlem native posted bail and was released from the Orange County Jail this afternoon. He is expected to perform in Arizona tonight.
