This Rapper Reportedly Was Escorted To Safety Following Controversial Tupac Commentary
It’s safe to say that the emerging rappers of the millennial era should follow a simple protocol when it comes to questions about late West Coast hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur: if you don’t have anything nice to say, you shouldn’t say anything at all.
California rapper Lil Xan learned this the hard way when Waka Flocka placed a hip-hop ban on him for calling Pac “boring.” It now appears that his own hometown might be following suit after TMZ claims he was run out of a local Del Taco restaurant by an angry mob of Pac fans.
According to the site, TMZ obtained a police report from the incident describing what took place when the Redlands, California-native arrived at the fast food spot.
Xan was reportedly confronted by high school-aged individuals angered over the Tupac comments. Things never escalated to violence, but the situation became so tense that Xan allegedly ran over to a YMCA where he waited for a police officer to safely escort him to his vehicle.
The ordeal appears to be a wrong place and wrong time situation for Xan, TMZ adds, since the high schoolers were actually mobbed out at the Del Taco to watch a girl fight after school.
Fortunately, Xan escaped the situation before it turned into a two-part after school throw down.
