Jermaine Jackson to Write Tell-All Memoir
Now you can add Jermaine Jackson to the list of the Jackson family clan (along with mother Katherine and sisters Janet and soon to be second time scriber LaToya) book authors. The Jackson Five founding member just inked a publishing deal with Touchstone to release his memoir, You are Not Alone: Michael: Through a Brother’s Eye in Fall 2011.
Touchstone, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, says that the tome will be a, “faithful and loving portrait,” but promises that “no subject [will be] off limits.”
This is Jackson’s second attempt at writing a book in recent years. In 2006, Jermaine allegedly shopped a controversial book proposal with author Stacy Brown which made damaging claims about Michael Jackson’s innocence during his 2005 child molestation trial and his abuse of drugs and alcohol.
Jermaine later denied penning the sensational proposal during an appearance on Larry King Live claiming that it was Brown who solely wrote it.
