2 Chainz Announces Solo Tour
2 Chainz is hitting the road for the 2 Good to Be T.R.U. tour, he announced via press release Monday (Dec. 9).
The "Netflix" rapper will kick off his largest jaunt to date, set to feature label mate Pusha T and New Orleans singer August Alsina, February 4 at Boston's House of Blues. The tour run is in support of his sophomore release, B.O.A.T.S. II Me Time.
Spanning just over a month, the multi-city trek will hit several big-city stops including Los Angeles, New York City and Miami before ending March 9 at Washington D.C.'s 9:30 Club. "The best way to describe my tour is to reference a quote from Niccolo Machiavelli, author of the The Prince, who once said, ‘Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are," Chainz said in a statement adding,"2 G.O.O.D. 2 Be T.R.U."
Fans can purchase various VIP show packages, a limited number of which will be available in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C., Chicago and San Francisco. The 2 Good to Be T.R.U. package promises a "memorable night of privilege," which includes transportation to and from the concert in a VIP SUV courtesy of Uber, early entrance into the venue, and a meet and greet with 2 Chainz.
Tickets for the 2 Good 2 Be T.R.U. tour go on sale December 13 through various online ticket retailers and venue box offices.
