Is it us or did Normani just pull a Mariah Carey?!

Ok, let’s be honest … noone can really channel Mariah, she’s just too fabulous. But anyway,  here’s what we mean – Remember Mariah’s two piece black look from MTV’s 1997 award show? No, here’s your reminder.

Fast forward 20 years later and here we are again. Former 5^th Harmony member, Normani, stepped out on the gray carpet at BET’s 2018 ‘Blackanda’ themed awards in LA rocking a very similar look.

With her leg propped up showing off the split in her skirt, Normani wore a black two-piece crop top and skirt set that has the internet claiming “bish stole my look.”

Hmmm wonder if that was her goal? Maybe sis wanted to pay homage to an icon.  Either way, its fashion, it’s a cycle! We think she looked fab!
