He’s back! On Tuesday, October 25, The Kid Mero took to his X account, formerly known as Twitter, to announce the launch of his podcast “Victory Light with The Kid Mero.”
“IM BAAAAACCCCKKKKK,” the comedian wrote, “AND I BROUGHT SOME PALS W/ ME!!SUBSCRIBE/ FOLLOW/ WHATEVER THEY CALL IT…CUZ IM COMIN IN FUCKIN *HOT* #VICTORYLIGHT IS THE FUTURE!!!”
The first episode debuts on Halloween. “GET UR EGGS AND SUPER SOAKERS FULL OF BLEACH READY YOU RIDIN AROUND TO *THIS SH—*,” he added.
The pod is the first project from Kid Mero since he parted ways with his longtime collaborator Desus. The duo initially rose to fame in 2015 with their Bodega Boys podcast and their Complex TV web series, Desus vs. Mero, which debuted a year earlier. They subsequently transitioned to Viceland for two seasons before moving to Showtime in 2019, where they stayed for four seasons until the announcement in 2022 that the show would not be returning.
