Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Readying Two New Albums

After a surprise guest appearance on stage during A$AP Rocky's Summer Jam set, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has announced they'll be joining the bills for two other major hip hop shows, the West Coast Fest and Rock the Bells; and releasing two new albums, one, a joint venture helmed by Snoop Lion and another, their own, led by a single dropping in July.

"The song is called 'Everythang 100,' because everything is 100," Flesh told BET.com of the single. "All types of great stuff — like lining up with the West Coast Fest — 'lotta beautiful things transpiring right now. We're just real happy. We got an energy that just won't quit."

Bone is also in talks with legendary Cali duo Tha Dogg Pound for the joint album called Thug Pound.

"Right now it's a work in progress," noted Layzie. "Me and Kurupt [came up with the idea when we] was kickin' it out in Vegas for 2 months. We decided to take it back to our brothers and see how they felt about it. So I talked to Kray, and Wish and Flesh and Bizzy and he went and talked to Snoop and Daz [Dillinger], and it seemed like it was something that was meant to be."

Snoop was feeling the idea so much that he wanted to be a part of this historic collaboration with "full-fledged participation," said Flesh. "Artist-wise, creatively, all across the board, that's big Snoop, that's big 'unk,' so we want him to play a real significant role in the whole situation," he added.

Even though Bone hails from the Midwest, Cali has embraced them as honorary West Coasters ever since they were discovered by late West Coast legend Eazy-E.

"This is our second home," said Wish. "And it only would be 'cause Eazy-E put us on. [People] actually thought we were from the West Coast, but that just goes to show how much love we have for Eazy-E," he added.

The rap game has chewed up and spit out more MCs than Love & Hip Hop, yet Bone has managed to stay hungry and relevant. "We created our own lane," said Krayzie. He pointed out, "Any originator is gonna have longevity in this game. The key to longevity is mastering the music that you do. Bottom line."

Bone has split up and come back together many times over the years, but as Bizzy points out, nothing beats the five of them together. "That's the fun part," Bizzy concluded, "Being able to go our separate ways — and some of us go on trips that we may not want to at that time — and come back together. We all still alive and we're having fun, and our kids are getting older and we makin' money and we got a plan."
