Angelina Jolie Shoots Louis Vuitton Video in Cambodia

The Humanitarian Returns to her Lara Croft Roots

The Oscar Award winning mother of six children helps couple fashion with humanitarianism in her latest project with one of the hip hop generation’s favorite designers, Louis Vuitton (LV). People magazine reports that Jolie’s latest LV video coincides with her “Core Values” campaign for the fashion house.
“In 2000, Angelina Jolie made her first trip to Cambodia,” a caption in the video reads. “It was a journey that would change her life forever.” She raised awareness about land mines, and famously adopted her eldest son, Maddox, from a local orphanage, in her role with the United Nations, and later established a foundation in his name. The actress, who has citizenship in the country, first spent time in the Southeast Asian nation while filming "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," and was “overwhelmed by the beauty of its landscapes and the warmth and generosity of its people.”
Jolie, who appeared in an LV ad earlier this month, with her own years-old monogrammed LV Alto bag, is the latest celebrity to star in Vuitton’s “Core Values” campaign, which has also featured luminaries like Bono, Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell, Sally Ride and Mikhail Gorbachev. A longer video will hit louisvuitton.com in July.
