Flavor Flav Wants to Bail Out Bobby Shmurda
He has his own legalities to deal with, but Flavor Flav wants to get Bobby Shmurda out of jail.
A video of the 56-year-old hype man was posted to Shmurda’s Instagram page, earlier this week, making the announcement. “We in the bank right now B, we got dough,” Flav says with stacks of money.
Shmurda was arrested in December on drug and gun charges, involving gang activity. He has since been accused of lying about getting a homemade knife from his girlfriend when she visited him on Riker's Island last month.
The rapper, whose birth name is Ackquille Pollard, was arraigned on contraband and perjury counts Thursday, adding to a growing list of charges, to which he pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces seven years.
Shmurda remains jailed on $2 million bail stemming from the previous charges.
