Raury Comes Full Circle With 'Devil's Whisper'
The road to enlightenment isn’t easy, but Raury leads the journey with “Devil’s Whisper.”
Co-produced by Raury and Jacknife Lee, the folksy record follows a personal awakening that the 19-year-old singer/songwriter experienced after his 2014 debut, Indigo Child.
"I've seen the powers that be and how deeply rooted they are in the poisoning of my people,” Raury says on the track. “I see what we're up against.... My god, I may have no idea what I'm doing."
The sonic "word-to-the-wise" has been crowned the “hottest record in the world" by BBC Radio 1's Annie Mack, and gives us more of Raury's artistic individuality.
