Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night Unites Big Stars for Charity
Halle Berry among this year's honorees.
Every year, the legendary boxing icon Muhammad Ali generates an impressive guest list for his Celebrity Fight Night, a 17-year-old fundraiser that's raised more than $65 million for Parkinson's disease research to date. Last Saturday, celebs like Halle Berry, Billy Crystal, Kevin Costner and Reba McEntire attended the gala held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Arizona and enjoyed performances by Kelly Clarkson, Bret Michaels and Matchbox Twenty.
The formal affair also honors leaders in sports, entertainment and business who, like Ali, also dedicate themselves to finding a cure for Parkinson's. This year's honorees included Bob Parsons, Red McCombs, Christie Kerr and Halle Berry. Ali himself was diagnosed with the condition in 1984.
