Young Thug Released on Bond
A judge has granted Young Thug bond and will allow him to travel for work, reports WSBTV in Atalanta. According to TMZ, he posted the amount and was released from the DeKalb County Jail today. Conflicting reports say his bond was between $10,000 and $21,000.
Thug, born Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was arrested by U.S. Marshall earlier in the week for making terroristic threats against a mall security guard. Authorities also raided his Georgia home, later slapping him with federal drug and weapons possession charges.
The last few days haven’t been looking good for Thugger on the legal end. Besides the arrest, he and Birdman were both named in a murder plot indictment against his road-manager, who is accused of shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus in April.
