Ye Headed To Russia For Sunday Service, Will Meet Vladimir Putin
Kanye West is headed to Russia and is taking his Sunday Service with him.
According to Billboard, Ye will also be meeting with President Vladimir Putin. The Donda rapper’s Sunday Service will mark his first ever show in Russia.
There is not a set date for when his international appearance will take place but it’s reported that it could happen during the spring or summer months.
Performance details are still in the works but it looks like the Sunday Service performance will be held at Crocus City Hall or the Grand Sports Arena at the Luzhniki Olympic Complex, where the 1980 Olympic Games were held.
West’s strategic advisor Ameer Sudan and his attorney Scott Balber are leading the efforts for the event.
Sudan shared that there is a plan for Russia to be a “second home” for the rapper/entrepreneur. The 44-year-old wants to grow his business in the country and partner with billionaire developer Aras Agalarov, often compared as the Trump of Russia, as well as Agalarov's musician son, Emin.
BET previously reported that in March 2021, Ye was worth $6.6 billion and credited to his lucrative deals with Adidas and Gap, following a report released by Bloomberg.
As far as special guests to attend the Moscow Sunday Service performance, Ye does plan to invite Putin to attend the gospel performance, Billboard notes.
