Ron Artest has been busy securing extra income just in case there’s an NBA lockout next season. According to TMZ, Mr. Meta World Peace is currently in talks with Dancing With the Stars and is seriously thinking about competing.

Nothing is official right now, but Artest and DWTS producers have been in discussions about a possible deal. TMZ’s sources say Ron is excited about the prospect.
The only issue is that DWTS won't end until November and basketball season typically starts in October. This means if the lockout ends early, then Ron could be in a pickle.

DWTS producers are desperate for A-list talent, plus they’ve never had non-retired NBA ballers on the show. If they do choose Mr. World Peace they will surely create a rehearsal schedule that works with his NBA obligations.
