See Iman and Chance the Rapper Star in Kenzo x H&M Campaign
It’s almost here!
After announcing earlier this year that H&M and Kenzo were teaming up for collaboration, they’ve released a few campaign pictures that feature supermodel Iman and hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper.
The campaign, which was shot by famed fashion photographer Jean-Paul Goud, features the celebs in cut-up film strips wearing the vibrant, extravagant print-heavy collection, Elle noted.
In addition to promoting the anticipated collection, H&M gets up close and personal with their ambassadors.
In this video interview, Iman opens up about activism and fleeing Somalia.
“As an ambassador’s daughter, overnight we became refugees and left Somalia on foot, literally, to Kenya, and their government took us in,” she explained.
“So I never forgot the organizations that helped us when I was a teenager… and when I became a model that never left me… So activism for me is just part and parcel of living.”
Here, Chance the Rapper opening up about his love for screenwriting.
“I love the movies, movies are my thing… I watch movies all day,” he shared.
“Screenwriting is one of my hidden vices that no one knows that I do. But I like great scripts and great dialogue and that’s actually one of the bigger influences in my writing.”
Other faces in the Kenzo x H&M campaign include Rosario Dawson, Chloe Sevigny and Vietnamese singer-rapper Suboi. The entire campaign will roll out on October 17, while the collection drops in stores and online on November 3.
