50 Cent to Preview Animal Ambition on Sirius XM
50 Cent is taking Animal Ambition straight to the people. On Monday (March 17), the G-Unit frontman will sit down for an intimate fan Q&A session for Sirius XM's Town Hall with 50 Cent, and will preview his new album on air.
A select group of listeners will sit with the Queens MC as part of Sirius XM's Town Hall series, "where the biggest stars meet their biggest fans," according to the radio website. Previous "Town Hall" guests include Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, and Eminem.
MTV News senior hip-hop writer, Rob Markman will moderate 50's session, slated to air March 31 at 8:00 p.m. EST on Eminem's Shade 45 station via the web, satellite television, and mobile devices.
"I am really proud of Animal Ambition, I have put a lot of myself into each song on this album and I am excited to preview it at the SiriusXM Town Hall," he said via a statement.
The new release is the first from 50 since he left Interscope Records. Although he signed a deal with Columbia Records, the 38-year-old is an independent artist, and has been using social media and live shows to build buzz for the LP. Earlier in the week, 50 performed at SXSW which was streamed live through the mobile sharing outlet Hang W/.
Animal Ambition drops June 3.
