LeToya Luckett got engaged over the weekend and we’ve got all the details on how this birthday surprise turned engagement transpired!  Luckett went through a divorce a year ago, when she split from her ex (Rob Hillman) two months after they had married. But we are happy to see this beauty smiling again and radiant with the new man in her life, Tommicus Walker.  

Walker, who’s a Texas businessman, popped the question during what was meant to be a surprise birthday party for him, planned by Luckett, and she was shocked!  I mean seriously, how thoughtful is this man…on HIS birthday! While the former Destiny’s Child member was organizing a dinner for her new boo, he was the one pulling strings to make sure all her family and friends were present when he popped the question and boy was the ring unbelievable! Fortunately, we talked exclusively to the jeweler who custom-created this three-carat oval, D color diamond ring. The Jeweler, XIV Karats, said Tommicus was very specific about the ring’s look and style. 

The soon-to-be Mrs. Walker took to Instagram to share the news and showed off her large oval rock and diamond band and tagged “IssaEngagement” and “LoveWins” in her caption, subliminally acknowledging her previous marriage. And yassss, LeToya, with a ring like that, LOVE does win! LeToya plans to seal the deal with her new fiance by end of year, and we will certainly be on the lookout for her walk down the aisle!
