Kehlani Signs to Atlantic Records
Kehlani is already making boss moves and she hasn’t even dropped her first official album yet. Fresh from releasing her You Should Be Here mixtape, the 20-year-old has signed a deal with Atlantic Records to bring her newly launched Tsunami Mob imprint to the label.
“I’m happy to share that I've already started working on my next project that I hope to have out later this year,” she wrote on Instagram. “Working with a label won't change a thing about my hustle nor will it change a thing about my music. I'm grateful to be in a good place and am excited to work with a great team who support my vision for myself and my music 100%. This is just the beginning. BUILDING AN EMPIRE AT 20 YEARS OLD, WAYYYYY UP ... I feel blessed.”
K made the announcement on Instagram earlier today while thanking fans for pushing her mixtape to the No. 2 spot on the R&B charts.
You Should Be Here includes guest appearances from BJ the Chicago Kid and Chance the Rapper.
