Jennifer Lawrence on Halle Berry: "She's Such a Wonderful, Sweet Woman"
It's been a whirlwind couple of years for Jennifer Lawrence, who came virtually out of nowhere to become the most coveted actress of her generation. The Oscar winner (and two-time nominee) has been a fixture on best dressed lists, red carpets and gossip pages. All the hype could have easily inflated the 23-year-old's ego, but the Hunger Games star tells us she works hard to keep herself grounded.
"I hate comparing myself to Katniss because she's dealing with life and death, and I'm just dealing with the fashion police," she says when we ask her what's been the hardest thing about surviving Hollywood. But, she admits, "keeping sight of what you know is important when the people around you are telling you its something else can be hard."
Lawrence also opens up about her friendship with her X-Men co-star Halle Berry. "She's such a wonderful, sweet woman," Lawrence gushes. "We talk about her daughter, things like that." One thing that doesn't come up between the fellow Oscar winners? Life after the Academy Awards. "It's not like, 'you have an Oscar, I have an Oscar, let's talk,'" she jokes.
Plus, we chat with Lawrence's co-star Josh Hutcherson about his Hunger Games gay crush — Liam Hemsworth, or Lenny Kravitz. The answer may surprise you!
