Kandi Burruss Addresses Keith Lee’s Old Lady Gang Restaurant Review
Singer and restaurant owner Kandi Burruss has responded after TikTok food critic Keith Lee recently stopped by her Old Lady Gang restaurant in Atlanta, GA, during his food tour but did not dine in after he was given special treatment over his family.
“I’m about to speak on it. No, I’m joking. I’m not about to speak on it,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star began. “I really just wanted to say I do appreciate Keith Lee for stopping by our restaurant and trying to show us love. It is very unfortunate that we couldn’t serve him and his family.”
The reality star acknowledged Lee's comments about being unable to place a to-go order. However, she did not explain why the staff was willing to seat him shortly after his arrival despite having informed his family earlier that there was a wait time of over an hour.
“On the weekends, we get a lot of community support, people in our city that show up for us, as well as a lot of people from out of town. So, with that being said, we don’t want to overwhelm our kitchen by having to, you know, have such long times for the people who are actually at the restaurant, plus having to do to-go orders,” Burruss continued.
The singer concluded her video by thanking the social media star once again for “even show up to our restaurant and show us love.” She also applauded him for trying to bring his family, noting that “and maybe next time, we will still get a chance to serve you.”
Lee stirred up quite a commotion in the Atlanta restaurant scene over the weekend when he and his family visited multiple restaurants and had less than satisfactory experiences.
