Terrifying Altercation Breaks Out During Lil Wayne's Performance At Atlanta Festival
According to several reports, a sudden uproar interrupted New Orleans rap icon Lil Wayne’s A3C Festival performance and cut the entire event short as chaos ensued on Sunday night (October 7).
Initially, rumors of a shoot-out surfaced from attendees who were present during Weezy’s show and took to Twitter for live scoops on the frightening events unfolding before their eyes. Others claimed that there weren’t any gunshots at all, but a brawl broke out instead. Regardless, it’s apparent from festivalgoers’ footage and several eyewitnesses that a situation did, in fact, erupt and lead a stampede of fans fleeing to safety.
A3C has now released an official statement on the issue that’s clearing up the internet-circulated gossip and replacing them with the facts.
Some attendees maintained that gunfire broke out during Weezy’s set, sending shock and panic through the crowd

Others, however, are debunking those claims, stating that a physical, but weapon-less, fight was what actually flared

In one video that shows just a preview of the chaos, Miami femcee star Trina is among those rushing to safety
Trina and her crew can be seen hastily attempting to organize everyone into the vehicle. Other attendees are also rushing away from one direction. Elsewhere in the video, viewers can also see two black SUVs dash out in front of the car Trina is in and dash to a traffic light as others run amok in several different directions. A woman who climbed into Trina’s car afterward claimed that “they” were shooting.

On the contrary, A3C’s address of the events that took place confirmed that no shooting occurred
While there was an altercation, the statement reads, an investigation into the incident is underway by law enforcement. “Please be assured that the law enforcement officers present have confirmed that there were no weapons involved,” A3C organizers revealed.
Weezy also acknowledged the incident, wishing love and safety to all those who came out
Glad to know things weren’t worse than they could have been!
