Wait, Was Atlanta Rapper Rich The Kid's Home Invasion Attack An Inside Job?

A hospital photo of the “New Freezer” rapper has surfaced after he was robbed and beaten.

After a worrisome photo of Atlanta rap star Rich the Kid surfaced on his official Instagram, which shows him laid out with his eyes closed in a hospital bed as tubes and other medical equipment surround him, TMZ confirms that he was attacked in a Los Angeles home invasion.

According to the site, Rich was at his alleged girlfriend and Instagram model Tori Brixx’s home on Thursday night (June 14) when the incident unfolded. Two men in masks reportedly came into the home ordering that he turn over his valuables, but when he put up a fight against them, three more perpetrators entered the residence with guns, TMZ reports.

The men reportedly escaped after violently attacking him, and left with a “significant amount” of the money and jewelry they demanded. Afterward, the “New Freezer” rapper was sent to the hospital and a 911 call was placed, the site adds, as alleged sources shared that they believe he may have been set-up. TMZ doesn’t disclose who they believe the secret betrayer is, but Rich’s wife took to her Snapchat to accuse Tori of the treachery.

“I just want this to be known when I see [Tori Brixx] I’m beating her a** [because] b**ch you know you set him up,” she wrote in a Snapchat post.

However, TMZ reported in a new update to the incident that Tori was also hospitalized for her injuries from the home invasion as well, and was released Friday morning (June 15).

Either way, we wish Rich a speedy recovery and quick resolve to this horrific incident. See the photo from Rich’s hospital status and his wife’s accusation below.
