Justin Bieber was involved in a car accident in Beverly Hills on Tuesday afternoon after being chased down by a car driven by a paparazzo. The troubled singer was sitting in the passenger seat of an Escalade when the accident occurred and quickly bolted from the scene in another vehicle, TMZ reports.
Law enforcement officials were called to the scene, but no injuries were reported. Bieber is no stranger to being followed by shutterbugs. The singer frequently scuffles with photographers and is even in the middle of a lawsuit with a paparazzo suing him for property damage.
"It is hard to defend myself and my privacy every moment of the day. Then to see rumors. The truth will set u free," he wrote to address the lawsuit. "My mom raised me to be kind to others. I get judged, harassed, and I try to take the high road. Sometimes it isn't easy. But we keep trying...I will continue to be the man my mother raised."
