Derrick Rose's rape accuser wept in court as opening statements were read Wednesday.

On Thursday, the woman accusing the New York Knicks' point guard and his two friends of rape continued to cry, as she testified in front of Rose, who appeared in the Los Angeles court on the second day of the $21.5 million civil lawsuit rape case against him.

But it's what Rose's attorneys asked of the woman that's shocking and downright callous.

According to the Daily Mail, a member of the former NBA MVP's legal team allegedly declared, "Is she going to cry all afternoon?"

The gutless sentiment was immediately handled by U.S. District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald.

"I'm not going to order the witness not to cry any more than I'm going to order her not to breathe," he shot back to Rose's lawyers.

The woman was in tears, reliving the alleged rape against her. Rose's presence in court for the first time only escalated the woman's emotions. She proceeded to give the details of what led up to that alleged August 2013 rape in her apartment at the hands of Rose and his friends, Randall Hampton and Ryan Allen.

She recalled how she had three and a half shots of tequila, when meeting up with the trio. 

"I just felt I was less in control, more goofy," she said in court.

Rose and his lawyers have maintained that the alleged victim wasn't gang raped or raped at all and that the sex was consensual.

The Knicks' point guard and his attorneys have also said that this allegation is nothing more than a cash-grab attempt on behalf of his accuser.
