Nia Long Has Her ‘Eyes On One Person’
During a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Nia Long revealed she has a crush on someone, but she’s “never telling” who that special someone could be.
On Thursday (Jan. 26), the 52-year-old You People actress told Barrymore that she’s been secretly dating people for years, and doing so without media attention.
She later revealed during the show that she “has her eyes on one person.” She appears to be returning back to her no-media rule, stating, “I’m never telling.”
Barrymore admitted that she “very much” likes dating, but that feeling didn’t resonate with Long, saying, “I’m so nervous.”
Long appeared to be a good space, following an emotional interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, saying, “And you know, I've had some pretty devastating moments in my life over the last couple of months and I've had to just say, 'It's all right. You'll pick yourself back up…' Oh my God, I'm about to cry. You pick yourself back up and you keep it moving.”
Long recently went through a public breakup with NBA coach Ime Udoka after the couple spent 13 years together. They confirmed with PEOPLE that they will “remain fully committed to co-parenting their son.”
The couple’s split came after Udoka, 51, allegedly had an affair with a woman within the Boston Celtics’ organization.
