Don Lemon Attacked by 'Crazily Drunk White Chicks' in Bars
Don Lemon might want to beef up his security detail when he hits the bar.
In this morning's Wendy Williams Show hot topics panel, the CNN host joined the discussion of De'Andre Johnson, the Florida State University quarterback who punched a woman in a crowded bar after she attacked him and allegedly called him the n-word. The incident was caught on camera.
COMMENTARY: DON LEMON'S SAGGING PANTS PROBLEM
The "bad boy of CNN," as Wendy said, sounded off on the topic, first offering some logic, "if you're in a bar with drunk people, you don't know how people are going to react." He then shared his own experience with bar fights. "Most of the altercations I've had in bars have been with crazily drunk white chicks," Lemon revealed as the audience let out a gasp. "They get into the bars for free, they get drunk... the bartenders ignore you and they feel entitled, they get really hammered and they just go off and do whatever they want."
We didn't realize Lemon got into so many bar fights with white women, but before everyone attacks the anchor on Twitter for defending someone who was seen hitting a woman, as a seasoned journalist he was just playing devil's advocate for the sake of discussion.
Still, we gotta love Lemon for keeping things interesting with his anecdotes!
