Drake Says Stevie Wonder Contributing to Take Care

The Young Money MC is in the studio with the Motown legend.

Drake is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Take Care, and the Toronto rapper has recently revealed an exciting new collaborator on the project. Drizzy says the legendary singer/songwriter Stevie Wonder helped him craft some songs on the album.
In an interview with Canada's Much Music at his annual October's Very Own Festival, which featured Wonder as a special guest, Drake said the music legend would be featured on Take Care.
“This is an exclusive right here, because it’s Much Music, and we’re Canadian: Stevie Wonder is actually on Take Care," Drake said.
The 24-year-old rapper said Wonder approached him early in his career and that the two have been working together as friends and songwriters.
“Stevie Wonder is a very close friend of mine. I’m honored to call him a friend, someone who embraced me very early in this music business,” he said.
Drake said Stevie gave him a few pro tips while he was making the new record.
“He helped me out with a lot of the music, just came and sat with me, listened to my music, told me where I could add a couple things to make it more sonically appealing, and not only that but we actually are writing together, which is an incredible experience,” he said.
During his surprise set at OVO last weekend, Wonder played six songs including "Ribbon in the Sky" and "Superstition." Other special guest at the show included Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, J. Cole and Nas.

Take Care is set to be released on October 24 and a new single from the project, "Headlines," was released over the weekend.
