Chlöe Bailey Dazzles in Solo 'Tiny Desk' Debut
Chlöe Bailey took audience members through several sultry renditions of songs from her debut album "In Pieces" as she made her solo debut on NPR's acclaimed "Tiny Desk" concert series.
The nearly 20-minute set kicked off with “Surprise,” and featured standout tracks such as "Body Do," "Worried," and "Cheatback," among others. During her performance, the 25-year-old shared hopes that her album would show, "It’s okay to not have your s**t together, and it’s okay to admit that you need help.”
Chlöe's performance on the popular YouTube series faced a potential setback when, as reported by the platform, a second background vocalist couldn't make it to Washington, D.C., for filming. Nevertheless, with one team member down, the singer and her team flawlessly continued without interruptions.
The “Have Mercy” singer last appeared on “Tiny Desk” in 2020 alongside her sister Halle for a special “Home” edition of the music show. The YouTube video has been viewed over six million times since being uploaded.
