Nene Leakes honors her late husband Gregg Leakes on what would be his 67th birthday. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a heartfelt post on Instagram with a caption that read: 'Today is a tuff one…every year on this date we would be out celebrating you! I can't believe we are wishing you a heavenly Birthday today.' 

She included a snapshot of herself smiling as she posed with an arm around her late husband.

Gregg tragically lost his battle with colon cancer in September 2021 after four years of treatments. 

NeNe and Gregg wed in 1997 and divorced in 2011, only to remarry two years later with a lavish wedding.

Nene was with her late husband until the end, holding his hand in his final moments.

In the weeks after her husband's death, NeNe revealed to PEOPLE that Gregg's last wishes were for her to 'move on' with her life.
