Alicia Keys Talks Philanthropy and Motherhood
Keep a Child Alive's annual event is a must-attend for celebrities who support HIV/AIDS advocacy, but Alicia Keys is the undisputed belle of the ball. The singer, who co-founded the charitable organization 11 years ago, took some time during the Black Ball to speak to BET.com about her passion for philanthropy, how HIV/AIDS has touched her life and the lessons she's learned from motherhood.
We also talk to Keys' husband Swizz Beatz about his wife's accomplishments, as well as several of her celebrity friends — LaLa Anthony, Gayle King and Selita Ebanks, to name a few — who were on hand to support the important cause.
