Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett Criticizes Democratic Party After Biden Bows Out, Endorses Harris for 2024
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett expressed her strong opinions about the Democratic Party after President Joe Biden announced he would not run in the upcoming presidential race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s official nominee.
The Texas Rep. took to her social media platform shortly after the announcement. She initially praised Biden but quickly shifted her focus to the decision-makers behind the unprecedented move.
“Well I hope the geniuses that pushed the most consequential President of our lifetime out, have a plan. WHO in the hell couldn’t sell the MF Accomplishments & win over a 34 time convicted Felon who isn’t even allowed to operate businesses in the state of NY (and therefore should automatically be disallowed from say running the country) & his ENTIRE team IS project 2025?!” the 43-year-old lawyer wrote. Crockett noted, “Joe wasn’t the problem… dems were.”
The Congresswoman also “completely” agreed with another critic who commented, “Huge mistake. No matter who they pick, everyone is going to be against it. This is absolutely ridiculous.” They added, “This another example of @TheDemocrats always self-sabotaging.”
Despite a tough debate performance against former President and Republican nominee Donald Trump and growing concerns over his ability to carry out another term, Crockett has consistently supported Biden, stating, “at the end of the day, he has a record to run on.”
However, Crockett clarified that “I know one thing, I will only work for @KamalaHarris! If it’s anyone OTHER than her, enjoy campaign season…” She continued, “I hope all of my disenchanted colleagues are able to find some walking shoes and get to work because I WILL NOT!”
