In the latest update, legal representation for Emmy-nominated actor Jonathan Majors’ are now claiming that the victim in the domestic violence case against the breakthrough was spotted on video surveillance uninjured.

According to documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times, on Tuesday, April 18, the 33-year-old’s lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, challenged Asst. D.A. Kelli Galaway's request for a court date later than the May 8 appearance and filed evidence showing the woman reportedly unharmed, hours after she and Majors parted ways.

The Lovecraft Country star was arrested last month after reportedly assaulting an unidentified woman whom he had been with romantically.

In the legal letter, Chaudhry claimed that on March 25, between the hours of midnight and 1 a.m., after attacking the Creed III actor and tearing his clothes, the accuser "went clubbing, got drunk, sent Mr. Majors angry text messages accusing him of infidelity, sent a suicide note to Mr. Majors, took a bunch of sleeping pills, and then, eleven hours later, was found alone in a locked bedroom, unconscious on the floor of a closet, with a cut behind her ear and a broken finger.”

The attorney also noted that they "provided irrefutable evidence to the District Attorney that the charges are false” and were “confident” that Majors would be “fully exonerated."

Clips taken from security-camera footage allegedly show the unidentified woman “at the bar, DJ booth, and hostess stand of Loosie's Nightclub at the Moxy Lower East Side hotel between 1:55 a.m. and 3:06 a.m.” on the night of the purported incident.

Chaudhry went on to accuse the accuser of fraudulently charging $800 worth of champagne to Majors’ credit card. The outlet reported that the footage shows the woman’s hand, both uninjured, as she sorts through cards and signs a receipt.

The actor’s attorney is hoping the District Attorney’s Office  “will move quickly to dismiss this case.”

Since the news broke, several key members of the actor’s team have since dismissed themselves, including his management agency, Entertainment 360, and his publicist, The Lede Company. Major has also been dropped from a number of projects, including The Man in My Basement, the unannounced Otis Redding biopic, and an ad campaign for the Texas Rangers MLB team.
