New definition for “O.P.P.”: Other People’s Punches. That’s what Treach said drove him and Naughty by Nature bandmate Vin Rock apart. In the latest twist to the ongoing civil war plaguing the hitmaking '90s rap trio, Treach revealed in a recent interview that Vin “sucker-punched” him during a meeting two years ago and that the two haven’t spoken since.

In a sit-down with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club morning show, Treach detailed that Vin "ran away" after the sucker punch and that "someone saved him at the time." “I’m glad they did,” he said. "Once hands was put on somebody in a meeting and you're talking business, that's sucker punching. That don't go. I ain't speak to the homie since."

“It's business," he continued. "Grown-man business. We on some different stuff now. Now, once you decide you want to get physical, now I’ma show you my power on a different level and still keep the goons off you so I hope you don't want to make another record and make it hard for some ghostwriter."

During the interview, Naughty by Nature DJ and producer Kay Gee first said he had Treach’s back, but then clarified that he wasn’t taking sides and that Naughty by Nature would continue to perform.

“I don’t agree with it,” he said of the very public beef. “I think its cool to clear the air, get it over with and just stop it. I think what’s going on now is that we got the shows and I just want to clarify and let everybody know that the shows that is on the table is gonna happen.”
