50 Cent Congratulates Method Man For Winning NAACP Image Award
50 Cent is offering his congratulations to Method Man after he won a 2023 NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.”
The Wu-Tang Clan emcee-turned-actor, who won for his role as criminal defense attorney Davis MacLean in Power Book II: Ghost, was also nominated in the “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture” category for his appearance in On The Come Up, a hip-hop musical drama.
Taking to Instagram in a now-deleted post, Power’s co-creator and executive producer said Meth “was always number 1 in Wu-Tang to me.”

“@methodmanofficial is no joke, he was always #1 in Wu Tang to me but he has transitioned into something that has to be celebrated,” he wrote. “This train won’t stop, shout out to @naacp for recognizing and the ZARS network.”
Meth replied in the comments, writing: “Boom!!!” along with a series of fire and trophy emojis.
In a separate IG post, Meth celebrated winning the NAACP award, writing, “3rd times the charm.. another win for the team..🏆🏆🏆x naacp image award winner.. PowerBook II Season 3 ..March 17.”
