Ne-Yo has declared that his kids matter to him the most.

The R&B singer typically shares photos of himself performing on stage, dope cover art of his music, and his dapper fits, but on Friday, he flipped the script and was more family-focused. The R&B singer—known for hit singles “So Sick” and “Miss Independent”— shared a series of images and an impassioned message on Instagram featuring his seven children, as reported by PEOPLE.

His carousel of images begins with him cradling his daughter, 2-year-old Isabelle Rose. The next photo shows him clutching hands with his oldest daughter, Madilyn Grace, 12, while holding Isabelle.

Another image shows three of his sons, Mason Evan, 11, Shaffer Chimere Jr., 7, and Roman Alexander-Raj, 5. In the photo, the eldest sons smile at the camera while Raj reaches for his big brother Evan’s hand.

The last two images he shared were fun family moments of the proud dad and his happy bunch, including sons Braiden, 2, and Brixton, three months– wearing matching t-shirts and denim jeans.

In the post, the Grammy-award-winning artist declared, “I’m a FATHER before I’m anything else. Not money, not fame, not even the love of the craft. I do this for THEM. THEY are my reason.

I’m nowhere near perfect and that’s ok. My kids love me.”

“And I’d die, kill, steal, whatever to make sure they never need for anything. The best thing I’ve ever done🥰”, he continued.

He rounded out his caption, saying, “I LOVE MY TRIBE!! I LOVE MY SQUAD!! AND I WILL FOR ALL OF THIS LIFE AND THE NEXT…AND THE NEXT! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰”

According to Page Six, he shares Shaffer, Roman, and Isabella with ex-wife Crystal Renay, Madilyn and Mason with ex-fiancé Monyetta Shaw, and sons Braiden and Brixton with ex-girlfriend Sadé Jenea.
