Keke Palmer And Darius Jackson Drop Hints About Their Baby Boy's Name: ‘We’re Not Going For Anything Too Unique’
Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson are dropping clues about the name of their baby boy! The couple—who are counting down to the birth of their first child together—shared some name hints on the actress’ podcast Baby, This is Keke Palmer on Tuesday (Jan. 31).
"We're not saying the name, but the name for us — it gives American. It gives Black American storyline," Keke explained, according to People. "We want it to just be like — we're not going for anything too unique. It's not about to be Stone and Sand. It's just like a nice natural [name]."
Keke also responded to the growing request that she name her son after her Nickelodeon character, True Jackson.
“We can't name the baby True Jackson. That's too much of a joke," she continued. "Yeah, that's too much of a novelty."
Keke explained that they do however have plans to incorporate the name into their wedding invitations. “When we do our wedding cards, that's when the True Jackson moment will shine. We'll do the wordplay for those invitations," she added.
