Shade on Shaunie! Jackie Christie Claims That She Built 'Basketball Wives'
Evelyn Lozada isn't the only Basketball Wives cast member who Jackie Christie is beefing with — Now, the reality star is adding fellow castmate and the show's executive producer Shaunie O'Neal to her radar.
During a recent interview at Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, Jackie was asked about her hand in bringing the show to success and it was at that moment that she made the bold statement that she "built" the show to where it is today.
"It's my baby. I built this," she said. "I been here. I cultivated it. I built the audience... and that's why I continue to do it because it's a thing with me now where this is my following. This is my legacy I'm leaving behind."
Elsewhere in the interview, she mentioned that Shaunie, who many consider the "boss," does not have the pull to fire her from the cast as many believe she does.
Jackie, who is married to retired NBA star Doug Christie, has been an active part of the cast for six seasons now since the Los Angeles-based spin-off of the franchise aired in 2011.
