Here Are 4 Major Bombshells From ‘Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians’ TMZ Special
Former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom dropped some major revelations about his marriage to ex-wife Khloé Kardashian during a candid conversation for the TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians television special.
Odom went down memory lane about the highs and lows of being married to Kardashian and the rise and fall of his fame in the special, which aired on Fox Monday night (Jan. 1).
In case you missed it, the former couple tied the knot back in 2009 before ultimately calling it quits in 2016. In 2015, Odom was hospitalized and put on life support after a near-fatal overdose, while he and Kardashian were separated.
TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians also premieres on Hulu on Tuesday (Jan. 3). Here are four jaw-dropping bombshells from the special.
His infidelity and drug use
Although he was married to Kardashian, he says he considered cocaine “his girlfriend.” When asked if the reality TV star knew about his drug use, Odom said, “You can’t hide that. She was hurt. But Khloe was a good wife. She wasn’t dismissive, or like, ‘Get away from me’ or ugly and nasty. She…wanted to protect me. Behind the scenes, I put her through sh*t.”
He also admitted that he was “embarrassed” by his infidelity. “I had these random women coming out…I was having full-blown relationships on the road, and my wife is Khloe Kardashian.”
He suggests that Kris Jenner set him up to look bad to the public
In August 2015, after Odom and Kardashian signed their divorce papers, Odom showed up outside of a SoulCycle location and surprised his ex-wife.
According to Page Six, Odom reportedly urged Kardashian to talk to him, and when she refused, he touched her arm, which resulted in her screaming at him, “Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop.”
Odom says that the entire situation was orchestrated by Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner.
“I’m a little foggy, but as far as I can remember, [Kris] kind of hooked it up for me to meet Khloe down in SoulCycle,” he said. “I get down there, and [Khloe] treated me like she didn’t know me, which was hurtful a little bit. And she’s kind of making a scene, and then paparazzi came out of nowhere.”
“I’m hurt by that. And then it came out that I tried to put my hands on her, or something like that. And then I’m really hurt and defensive. That’s where that incident happened.”
He claims Dennis Hof tried to kill him
In 2015, Odom was hospitalized and put on life support after a near-fatal overdose at The Love Ranch brothel in Nevada. He suffered 12 strokes and six heart attacks while in a coma. But, according to Odom, he claims that he did not do any drugs the night of the incident and that the brothel’s then-owner, the late Dennis Hof, was responsible for what happened to him.
“I would remember if I did cocaine that night. He tried to kill me,” he said of Hof, whom he doesn’t remember meeting while he spent time at The Love Ranch.
When Odom was asked why he believes Hof would have been behind the horrific night, the former athlete said, “I don’t know. This is only what I could tell you. I went there, I didn’t do drugs that night. I wound up with drugs in my system.”

He wants to rekindle his relationship with Khloé Kardashian
Odom says that Kardashian was the love of his life and that none of the other women he’s been with made him feel as secure as Kardashian did. He also admitted that, if she were open to giving him another chance, he would absolutely jump at the opportunity.
“‘I’d be like, where, when?’ Of course I would,” he said. “I’m not a loser, and I feel like I lost. I would love to just take Khloé out to dinner. To be her friend.”
He admits that he hasn’t made the first move because “I’m too shy. And I’m a Scorpio and I hate being told ‘No,’ and being denied. I’m afraid.”
